It's Time

Have Your people gone so far from You
Your Word is read yet none obey
Pride standing in the way
Often "Amen" spoken in the crowd
Agreement of Your word in speech
But with our lives we lack to teach
How are any to be reached
If we are to be a letter of Christ
With the Spirit of the living God
It's time to be alive
It's time to show love
The least of these is waiting
It's time to look inside
Examine our own lives
If faith without deeds is dead
How many of our hearts still beat
When will we be jolted from our place of security
When will we finally see
That without love we fall to the fire
Without love the greatest commands are lost
We mustn't compromise
The call that is on all our lives
It's time to get back to the beginning
Where in God's image we were created
It's time to take a stand
It's time to come back
To the God who gave us life
Let's start living the word with our lives
It's time
No room to compromise
